You can always just hide it in spoiler tags, that would also keep clutter down but still include the pics.

There's no real rule, but it is really helpful when you are quoting a picture. There's no need to post the picture twice; it takes up a lot of space. Also, if you have a picture of your own that seems to stretch the forums, it's nice to put that in a spoiler warning too, to keep everything proportionate. No rule, it just looks nice. Smile
