What do you think of the clones as the adversaries in the next book? A possible Mara and Lumiya clone and kids. At the end it said there were 10 people in the Cloakshape fighter that escaped. I can't remember right off hand how many of the clones they said survived, so I'm not sure how many of the 10 were kids, but it'll be interesting to see how they handle that. The spaarti clones often go mad, but what about their offspring? Will they be normal? Will Kaden be able to kill a twisted clone child? And oddest of all, will we have to see Mara die again?

I really liked it, a little surprisingly. First of all, the reason I didn't mind the time-travel is that it was definitley a one time thing. I was afraid it was going to be a science experiment and could become a central plot for future storlines, but I don't think anyone will ever jump into hyperspace with a severely damaged dreadnought full of lignan with a dark side-user manipulating it. On purpose at least. Paul S.Kemp has a gift for writing characters. They were simple, but original and likeable.

A few minor things I didn't like though:
-The lack of (I'm forgetting the word, but shouldn't as opposed to should not), especially with chacters like Khedryn. It sounded really unnatural (ie, "It is Junker!)
-The Hole. The whole scene made me feel like, I don't know, having a really long shower or something.
-How did the clones get crystals for their home-made lightsabers? I can accept the idea that the built crude lightsaber shells, but I thought the crystals were harder to come by than just scrounging through spare parts.

But, like I said, they're minor, and I really enjoyed it overall.
