Anybody going to explain while I smile and nod? My cheeks are getting sore from the strain. Wink

Lol well its just that people want Dengar, he was awesome! But you'd have to have been there back in the day when he was cool or go back and read about him. Kinda like The Beatles, people know who they are, they know they're cool, but you gotta experience them haha

I've read the old books with Dengar and did not see the awesomeness. Confused

Anyone who survived a business relationship with Boba Fett deserves a Bada$$ stamp of his own.

He hasn't shown up before LotJ right? Cause he's a character I'd like to see more of too.

Hey, I like Dengar. I thought he was a pretty cool character. I just didn't know he had a big fan following. And I was assuming there must be an inside joke concerning a son of his? But perhaps not. Nevermind. Smile

@Rogue: Did you mean Goran Beviin?

@Reep: Hey, Seha's the featured article on Wookieepedia today. Smile

I'd like to see more of Beviin, he was one of a select few who could sort of tell Fett off and live to tell about it. For that matter, I'm curious to see how much(if at all) Fett brought into the ROTJ series.

I got to like Dengar in the book(s) with Fett. He must be kicking around somewhere. Or at least mention his death somewhere(with someone looking for some old info or something).

Dengar- me too, I had thought he was interesting from the Solo story, but the Fett tie in was written very well.

Beviin- me too

ROTJ series?

If so I'm interested too- but doubt they will now that Fett's past might change at any point from here to the end of the live actions.

We probably won't see much of Fett now that Traviss has departed.

Unless we get someone who liked a different incarnation of Fett and hopes to cash in on the changes made...See there I go pondering again Laughing

Now see that would be a shame. I think they have established a character that many of us are intersted in. This was made much more so now that he is acting like a mandalore and actually working to take care of his people. His continued exploits should be carried on by another author.

I think Boba and Venku are just two great writing opportunities that would be a waste to ignore in the future.

To me, Son of Dengar just sounded so corny, definitely like a Bantham era book. And the whole idea of reintroducing a character through their children is a very old and well used gimic. And to top it off, picturing a baby Dengar in his diapers would almost be like him having his own swath of bandages...like father, like son. He could even inherit the old Solo grudge and go after Han.

I found humor in that. Laughing
