Another reason: Star Trek my have quantity, but Star Wars has quality. Come on, how many Trek shows and movies have there been? And most of the shows had absolutely nothing to do with each other except that they took place on the Enterprise. _________________ All things die, Anakin Skywalker, even stars burn out. So this is how liberty dies....with thunderous applause. Those without swords can still die upon them The world is a mess and I just need to rule it.

This debate was always broke down to ships, Star Trek had huge ships- all the ships were big. Star Wars had single person fighters. I always enjoyed that about SW, the ST game Dark Universe is the first ST single player ship I'd seem. But for me it's just a different story all together. However, even the more recent Trek movies (not the newest one. Haven't seen it, so I can't judge it) can't measure up to the quality of SW. _________________ All things die, Anakin Skywalker, even stars burn out. And Star Wars has Jar Jar Binks so that's a MAJOR loss of points but Star Trek is exactly what was said earlier: quantity not quality. I liked the original series an stuff, but Star Wars is the better franchise. _________________ Perfection is a lifelong pursuit requiring sacrifice. First off...that battle between Kirk and the Gorn...WAS AWESOME! Yes, yes, it was old school and dated in comparison with other media, but hey, it was a TV series. If you want to be fair, let's compare The Clone Wars with Star Trek. I'll take Star Trek hands down over ANYTHING that Star Wars has done for TV. There were some great Star Trek episodes, and I find them enjoyable. I even like the old Lost in Space. Secondly, the ships. Here I will concede that Star Wars has way better ships than Star Trek. There's no contest. The Enterprise will never be as cool as the lowliest of Star Wars ships, be it a Rebel Transport or a Jawa Sand Crawler. Finally, I will leave off by addressing the Star Trek films. Now let me be clear, I defend only the old school Star Trek with Captain Kirk. I never did get into any of the new Trek shows. But out of the Trek films, in fact, out of all of Trekverse, Kahn has to be the most awesome thing it has ever created. Kahn is quite simply the Star Trek equal of Grand Admiral Thrawn IF Thrawn were Force-sensitive. You see, one must remember that Kahn was not a normal person but a super being. That is why he is actually superior to Thrawn. Ok, let me draw my sword and prepare for battle you Trek hating wermos. _________________
