His death would lose it's power and the fact that Del Rey knew his days were numbered was what inspired them to write the awesome character that he is (was). We just like to whine and complain and come up with ways that he could come back. That said, I think it would have been possible to bring him back in LotF using Flow Walking. Oh, the road not travelled. And no more clones. Ever. It might have been an interesting idea once, but the whole Palpatine plot killed it. _________________ All things die, Anakin Skywalker, even stars burn out. Darth Skuldren Moderator Joined: 04 Feb 2008 Posts: 5756 Location: Missouri I'm still holding out for another Thrawn clone. Zahn said it was always a possibility that there was another floating about if Thrawn was ever needed. But I'd be against an Anakin clone. As much as his death was disappointing, I think he should be left be. Bringing him back would only give them the opportunity to ruin his character. _________________

That's right- the idea for a cloned Palpatine came from GL he didn't like the idea of a Force User pretending to be Palpatine. Then we get to see "What are these Clone Wars are about" Zhan played with them, but that's about it. Yet it's treated like sacrilege to mention another clone. I liked it fine in Hand of Thrawn. In the comics late 90's Superman "dies" Yeah right- well when he comes back he's missing most of his powers, there was a guy some Kryptonian who wasn't- poss like Brainiac- well the Cyborg Superman looses a Kryptonite gas at Superman- the Kryptonian jumps in front of the blast- there is a cool panel of the Kryptonian being melted and Superman absorbing his powers.
