I really enjoyed this episode. I wish they had used Mustafar better, but up to that point there was nothing I disliked. I found it believable that the planet sensing was possible, sense they were getting stuff wrong as they did it.

A few spoiler thoughts:

We're really going to use spoiler tags? Oh well...

Pretty bad episode, every once in a while TCW falls into the trap of providing an episode where everything comes too easy. Bane is captured too easily (and that really bugs me since that's two weeks in a row now where we've seen someone who has taken out full fledged Jedi easily get taken out by Ahsoka as easy as pie. They are going out of their way to power her up, that is not the way to endear her to the fans), they find the children too easily, the mind trick was too easy, the action came too easily, everything about the episode was too easy.

In a way I loved the mind trick being like torture because it further proves how hypocritical the eternally corrupt Jedi Order is, but on other other hand it feels like overkill. It doesn't fit organically into the universe, it comes cross too much like the show going, "See this everyone, this is serious now, this isn't kiddie stuff." Couple that with the fact that every episode some Jedi is talking about revenge or showing anger that goes unchecked and this show is a field day for those of us who hate the Jedi Order and must be giving headaches to those who still try to defend the Order as some sort of peaceful organization that actually has beliefs they follow all the time and not just when it best suits their needs.

These are the episodes where I feel Lucas' grubby paws all over the material.

Skuldren: I'm using spoiler warning because I know quite a few people on here that haven't watched the show yet.

I being one of them, am surprised how many of us missed it. No wonder they want to go to Mondays. But for me I'm watching the show either way and read the spoilers anyway.

Though I too must say Bane is the BEST thing to come out to TWCAS thus far!!!

That was probably the best part of the whole episode. Smile
