My opinon on the subject: I honestly think that if Anakin came back this late in the story, FOTJ, it would be wierd. I dont think he would fit in, really. He had his time. Barely. But he did have his time. So now its time for the new generation of Jedi, like Jaina and Ben, to have a chance in the spotlight. That isn't to say I wouldn't mind him being back, though. Especially if Anakin and Jaina had a brother/sister team like Luke and Leia going on. We barely got to see their relationship and interaction with each other excpet for a little bit in Vecor Prime and Star by Star. After all, two Solo kids are better than one. On a side note, if anyone would have to give themselves up to bring Anakin back, I vote Ben. Yeah, Anakin coming back this late in the game would be sort of weird. But I can dream, right? As for Ben giving himself up......*sigh* What's with all the Ben hate around here? If the little Skywalker would have been given his own role in the EU I doubt there would be much hate, but Anakin and Jacen were removed utterly and he now has the role they had. People had invested up to ten years in Anakin and up to seventeen in Jacen, and they get killed, Ben gets their position and DR wants us to become Ben Skywalker fans. That leads to hate. And I'm proud to say that I hate Ben Skywalker and are not ashamed to admit it!

But he's done nothing so far to deserve hatred. If he becomes nothing but a clone of Anakin, yeah, that'll be reason. I think he at least deserves a chance to become his own character before everybody goes after him with torches and pitchforks. Personally, I used to dislike Ben, especially in Dark Nest. Thinks a little tooo much Oh im The Son of SkyWalker I gotta liv upto the legacy. Yea so his father does hav a rather huge shadow...but still...The writers overdid it=/. Seriously Luke dieing wud not hav been as painful as Maras death was. Hell I wud Trade Luke for MJ anytime. Though after she got married she did mellow down a lot i guess. _________________

That's Mara all over. But I think it's unfair to expect him to be a carbon copy of Luke or Mara......or Anakin and Jacen, for that matter. As awesome as Anakin was, what point would there be in having Ben be just like him? We'd always have an idea of what he was going to do in a situation. I like him as he is now.
