Kay, here's an audio track of alternate themes John Williams was playing with for A New hope. It's a pretty awesome track. But make sure you jump to the 5:00 mark after the initial track (Binary Sunset), cause it doesn't actually end like it sounds like it does. Just a lot of dead air. Listen really closely, cause only the very beginning of each alternate is different, but it sounds really weird when compared to the original. I remember thinking, "How could they have possibly considered using that?" Smile

Anyway, enjoy!

It's pretty good, but I must admit it was pretty hard to follow. The music was very emotionally captivating, but I had trouble figuring out what was going on most of the time. Were they following a chronological order or anything? And I noticed quite a few comments about the "Jag and Jaina part". Which Jag and Jaina part? I never noticed anything other than a couple pictures with them. Confused

I was inspired by the video Sword posted a few days ago, so decided to create my own video spanning the Star Wars saga. This is a labor of love. We've done many, many slideshows, but I recently felt that one was needed to span the entire Star Wars saga. I've left out Fate of the Jedi, since it isn't finished yet, anything before Knights of the Old Republic, because we have to stop somewhere, and Legacy, because that's too far into the future to include right now.

Some words of advice: Don't turn your volume down too low, because you'll miss the middle section of the music. Don't turn it up too loud, or you'll blow out your eardrums later on, trust me. Wink

So, put together as chronologically as possible, I present to you: Star Wars: A Story In Pictures.

Awesome- though at times I could hardly hear the music- but love the the pics switched to the music! And loved the NJO sequence.

*applauds* Very nice job, Mara! Impressive.....most impressive. Wink
Seriously, that was cool. The music and pictures were awesome. *sniffle* The images of the Solo kids and Mara tug at my heart.

Thanks, guys! I really enjoyed making it. The only reason I don't cry when I see it is because I've now seen it so many times. Confused

@Rogue: The NJO is deinitely my favorite part as well. Especially when it first starts, and then when Chewie has his arms raised at the moon, and Han is next shown with the distraught face. Crying or Very sad

I intended from the beginning to build up to the NJO there, because I believe it was the galaxy's darkest hour. I almost wanted to end with it, as well, but decided there was far too much story to tell in Legacy of the Force. I couldn't leave it out. So...there you have it. So glad you liked it! Smile

Thank you, Joe! I'm so happy you liked it, I really am. Until recently, I never really thought about how emotional a slideshow with music like that could be. And when it suddenly occurred to me, I decided I had to make a Star Wars saga right away. And so it was born. Smile

I really enjoyed that too. If the music was longer, a few more pics from the films could have gone in, but as an EU slideshow, very epic.

My new hero: Tokyo Dance Trooper.

This is one of his first videos. No, it was not planned; the people around him are normal people. hence the stopping and staring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7X9MQi7uOU&feature=channel

This is his latest video, which is just practice, but his dancing is extremely impressive. I can't wait to see him take this song to the streets.
