Luke/Ben: Their plotline was definately interesting, although I'm getting a little tired of Force-philosophy. |
I wish they'd break into the philosophy MORE myself, they skirt it too much- without ever really dwelling into it. I'm big into the Philosophies of the Force.

Chapter 22: It was very cool to see these characters again, but it left me pretty confused. Anakin lived happily ever after (okay I got that), Jacen didn't (Well, that sucks...) and Mara is half and half (what the heck?!). |
See for me the lake was just a window to the Force. They are all ONE with the Force, they are just spending their time in way they felt most appropriate.

I always thought that Force-User-wise you became one with the Force or you didn't depending on your choice (Light or Dark) and there's no in between. I know it's been blurred by books like Traitor, but I don't see any reason Mara should be suffering, she made her choice (Light) and that should be that. |
There are lots of things that can happen at death. But I always looked at Traitor as showing the Force in terms of Power. Not in the all encompassing way that Jacen learns because of what he learns in Traitor.

Mandos: I for one was surprised these guys showed up, although Denning portrayed them nastily as usual. |
Yeah me too- I was glad to see them though.

Jain/Jag: I hate to say it, but I see rough waters ahead... |
Agreed- I feel this is the pairing we'll see in the end- but their trial by fire as a couple has yet to begin....

Sith: I enjoyed them for the most part, except for the last few chapters. The part where the elevator opens and Luke stabs one and shoots the other was ridiculous. How could a Sith be that dumb. They were getting cut down left and right... |
Yeah it's not like you use the Jedi's argument of "they hadn't faced a Jedi in so long" I mean facing another Sith in combat training has to be equal to fighting a Jedi on some level.
