He got a gorgeous older woman who was in love with him, that deserves kudos. _________________ Perfection is a lifelong pursuit requiring sacrifice. Old Master Ben Administrator Joined: 10 Nov 2007 Posts: 2254 Location: Georgia Nah, Jake looked 9, and Natalie looked about 16. Still a big age difference though. I don't have a problem with it, because they kept the feelings of Anakin about Padme really contained in the first scene when they meet. Besides that, it felt more like Anakin really wanting to be around Padme because she was so different and nice and not for a "romance" reason.

But for me, my daughter just turned 7, and so I have a hard time seeing him as a 9 year old. He looks too 6-7 to me. Padme though in ep 1 looks almost the same as she does by ep 3- (Portman ages well) Again it's not the Romance- just that I know these characters are destined to be together because of the moment shared in ep 1. I just have a hard time buying that scene. That aside (and Jar Jar) Ep1 has some of my fav scenes as well. _________________ -Bring on your thousands, one at a time or all in a rush.
