Maybe I missed it, but I don't see a Kyle Kartarn discussion going. Discuss him and his adventures here.

Personally, I think Kyle should have his own forum, but I guess a little thread will have to do.

I so wish they would make novel adaptations of all the games! I would love to read Secrets of the Sith play out. Or was it Mystery of the Sith?

They did do three novel adaptations. They were okay. I have them in hard cover.

But yeah, a nice little duology or trilogy with Kyle as the main character would be cool. I think it would actually be a good move to go off on a series of duologies centering on different characters other than the big 3 at various points along the timeline.

Yes, movies with Kyle would be awesome. Let's hope George is reading this. Wink

TV movies, anyway. I'm probably gonna get tarred and feathered for this, but I don't think Kyle deserves a moment on the big screen.

awwww. I think the combination of action like in the games and Kyle's badassery would make an awesome movie :D the 24 tv series is popular and that has a badass character like Kyle, Jack Bauer. (don't you think they're alike, lol) I think it could catch on. I think Kyle's attitude is funny and refreshing, it's different to see a good guy that can kick ass.
I wouldn't mind a tv series either. that would still be cool.

Now, a TV series, I could go for. Smile

hopefully kyle katarn will at least have a story arc in the upcoming live action show, he deserves at least that much,

i grew up with kyle katarn just as much as luke skywalker or han solo, dark forces 2 was one of the first video games i ever played. he is definatly my favorite EU character and in my opinion, deserves to be reignited for future generations of fans, and not forgotten in the past

i love force unleashed, but i highly doubt that starkiller has the power of the valley of the jedi

For those of you who doubt Katarn's Chuck Norris-ness. Even Boba Fett is afraid of him:

8t88: "A man named Kyle Katarn will enter this bar in an hour or so. He has information that I want."
Boba Fett: "So? Ask him."
8t88: "He may not wish to tell me."
Boba Fett: "And that's where I come in?"
8t88: "Exactly."
Boba Fett: "I don't think so."
8t88: "Why not?"
Boba Fett: "Because I've heard of Katarn."

And he wasn't a Jedi Master yet. On the other hand, look what Caedus did to him in Fury...

Have you read them? If you don't, how do you know you don't like them?
