Hi i have some questions. sorry it's a lot but i'm really confused about linking images.

i would like to link images from imageshack. but they are really big. how do i link it so it looks smaller, then you click on it and taken to another page with the full size image ?
does that make any sense ? Embarassed
i mean like on tf.n you coul link images with [img=[imageurl]] and get a thumbnail size. then click on it and it takes you to a new page with the full size. that is what i would like to do. Smile

and how many banners/images can you have in your sig ?
and can you make them link to another site like livejournal , so if you click on it the image will take you there ?

thank you ^___^

Hey there is a limit in the sig- I think 500 characters. The images- not sure on size- but if they are too big hide them with a spoiler warning Wink

Or you can just paste the adress and it'll make a link to it.

No one has posted here since January when my buddy Xion asked but it seems like an appropriate thread for my question.

I came across an awesome piece of SW EU memorabilia last week at an auction I was attending and wanted to post a few photos. The problem is, for the life of me I can't re-size photos in a post and when I just plop them in there they are almost obnoxiously huge. I'm not trying to use up all the bandwidth either.

Please advise.

Yes, sadly there is currently not an option to resize the images on the forums. You could A) Resize them using a different program. or B) Use a spoiler tag so that the image is only obnoxiously large if someone clicks on the spoiler. We will hopefully update this in the future.

if you use photobucket it has a resizing option that's pretty easy to use. Or just copy and paste the image into Word and shrink it. Wink
