I'm waiting for THAT trailer to come out- it's only there for a second I think it was Obi-wan vs a DeathWatch guy.

Concept Black sabers-

I didn't watch, but I'm not proud,
Cause I'm Canadian and I'm not alowed.
Rolling Eyes

Could someone please tell me what was in the trailer.

I guess this means Mark Hamhill won't be voicing the lead Mandalorian. Sad That old-fashioned lightsaber looked really cool, can't wait to see more.

Ok so things have been shaken up- but I can see a retcon coming- but I don't see GL's vision working with the EU anymore.....

For the EU to continue to work GL's concrete THIS IS HOW IT HAPPENED has to start getting tossed out the window.

Agreed. I could hear continuity's death screams as I watched. *sigh* I have now begun to separate the EU from TCW in my mind. They exist apart from one another.

I have counted CW as non-canon for a long time, especially Ahsoka...

Well I missed the first 8 minutes. The rest of it was odd. Part of me sees Duchess Satine as a Padme for Obi-Wan (they even dress alike). It was also interesting that it only took two Death Watch commandos to take down Obi-Wan. The dark saber was different, but it really doesn't look believable (looks too fake). However, I did like the little toss of history they threw in there for it. And having the Death Watch leader be Vizsla was also a nice touch. Note this guy is Pre Vizsla and not Tor Vizsla, the guy Jango killed. I also like the fact that the Death Watch helmets don't have the characteristic rangefinder antennae that the Fetts have. Yet, I still don't like the idea of peaceful Mandalorians.

Yeah, that kinda annoyed me. Seems like in TCW, the Jedi are all-powerful beings.....until the plot needs them to be captured. Then a baby Hutt can bring them down. Confused

I don't know. A Jedi and a Mando are about equal fighters in my eyes so two Mandos should be able to beat one Jedi.

Still haven't seen it by the way...

Lucky you...

I am now convinced that Filoni is trying to stomp on the canon.
