Darth Skuldren Moderator Joined: 04 Feb 2008 Posts: 5760 Location: Missouri This is a worthy debate. I mean, how did it start? I bet initially it was just a head gear thing. Then when it came time to show another female Twi'lek, they kept the head gear thing. By the time they need a third one, they're like "well what does one look like without them? Can they be without them? I mean, that could be like a necessary garment for females, maybe part of their religion." And thus it stayed until no one remembered 'why' it was like that. So someone finally takes a stab at it with some canon: "they're ears." Not the way I would have went with it. _________________
