Nah, Lucas probably has an elaborate romance plot planned for Boba. We all know how good he is with love stories. Laughing

And his love interest is not Sintas... Crying or Very sad

Something to keep in mind is that it is very possible Del Rey knows as much about the Live-action show as we do. Maybe they cancelled just to be on the safe side and there isn't anything to be worried about. Maybe.

*gulp* Did I hear elaborate romance plot? Now I'm scared. And poor Sintas. Doomed to be lost in the Great Vacuum of Continuity.

Yeah, I know, but the very thought frightens me.

Well, that's disappointing.

Huh, well it was really far off. I hadn't gotten too hyped up about it. There is still plenty of other Star Wars stuff to enjoy.

Yeah, remember it was supposed to be a go in 2008. I said last year it wasn't going to happen over on sw.com and people shot me down. The cartoon was so succesful that his energies and resources went in that direction.

I mean, please, did he really not know how much it would cost to do? Hello, call up the star trek people and get a ballpark estimate. I don't beleive it's the reason. This campy, kiddie cartoon has taken over his priorities. Which is fine, I'll stick to the books and comics.

I would hardly call TCW kiddy, just my opinion. I actually thought it could work with a small budget. GL said that it would have a lot of dialouge and be small scale. Wouldn't it be cool if they went back to the old days of blowing up miniature spaceships and spinning-mirror lightsabers to save money. Cool

Old school ILM was epic. They should go back to their roots a bit instead of trying to CG everything. Lots of dialogue? Well, as long as George isn't writing it. Wink

This is the 21st century. CGI is awesome and makes movies epic.

Anyway, pretty sad that the series is cancelled, but I expected that...

CGI can be really cool, but at the same time it would be neat to see a throwback to the old days even if it's just a way to save money. The new generation of fans might feel betrayed, but the old generation would love it!

I guess if it were to save money. It would look a whole lot better than Bad CGI seen in shows like Smallville and Doctor Who, but not nearly as good as the CGI seen in the prequels (Especially Revenge of the Sith... Those effects were flawless)
