Overall I really liked the book. My only complaint is the ending was a little anticlimatic.

I definitely wanted to learn more about the clones, the experiments, how scientists got the DNA in the first place etc. Still the overall story was entertaining.
I give P.S.K. credit for pulling together 'classic' Star Wars elements - we got smugglers, evil scary assassins, and plenty of light saber action. I also like that we have mostly new characters. For the most part you really didn't know who was gonna live or die. The Jedi are not the only 'superheroes' of the story who must save the day. With most of the books coming out now its all jedi, jedi, force user, etc taking charge of everything. In this book Jaden really needed the others help.
What totally made up for the cliffhanger ending, for me anyway, was the team up for the 3 heroes for the next book. It's nice to have a solid mix of characters that really need one another. Its also nice that all 3 have to find answers to their purpose in life.
One thing is bugging me about Junker. Where was the shuttle attached? At first I thought it replaced the traditional cockpit on the YT-2400, However since they can be flown seperately I am guessing it was one the side opposite the cockpit. ???? Next to it??? Behind it???
