Apparentley, there's gonna be a new animated series about post- Return of the Jedi events featuring Han and Luke (what about Leia?).

I must say, I am shocked! Whatever happened to GL's spiel about Star Wars being Anakin's Story? Unless TV doesn't count, but if that's the case, what's the big deal with making books after Ep. 6?

Anyway...

I kind of guessed there would be a show with the Big 3 in, but I was thinking it would be placed during the Rebellion (The Clone Wars' counterpart), but I'm really curious about this. This could either be awesome or terrible (I'm sure you know why), so for now at least, I'm cautiously optomistic.

I'm torn between being excited and terrified. This has the potential to blow canon to bits.

Sorry guys, but after an update it appears that this is simply saying that there will be post-ROTJ stuff in the comedy show, so it probably won't be canon. Smile

Squishies, the comedy show and the post-RotJ show are, apparently, one and the same (thanks for catching that OMB Wink ).

I have to say I'm a little relieved about this, because the more I though about GL's take on post-RotJ stuff, the worse I felt.

I hope the comedy show is PG-rated. I don't want any Robot Chicken-esque humor in it (even though it is funny sometimes).

So they're calling Squishies a comedy show...that's different. Figured all kid shows were more or less comedies. Wasn't much chance of anyone confusing it for an 'educational' show. I guess this means Squishies is going to be staring Han and Luke then, if we're combining all the rumors?

My guess is that this new show will go all over the saga. I don't think that Han and Luke will be featured characters; it will be like Robot Chicken, where they skip from scene to scene, using many different characters. Post-ROTJ Han and Luke may just happen to have a few scenes.

I loved the Robot Chicken Star Wars skits. In reflection though, I can't recall any PG-13 content. Does Boba Fett blasting Ewoks count as that?

I must confess, I've never actually seen Robot Chicken, but I know the type all too well.

I saw it and there was PG-13/R content.

Let's see, Han and Boba give each other the finger, Luke is seen in bed with his sister, Vader gets a swear-infested lecture from Palpatine on the phone, Admiral Ackbar calls Mon Mothma am insensitive female dog, Anakin brings Padme a bouquet of "flowers", and many other red flags...
