I actually like it. The scowl makes him look like a "don't mess with me" type. One question I have is, what if Boba kills someone? He's a kid still. That's kinda dark subject matter isn't it? Can they go there with him?

Edit: The TVguide article revealed that Boba is going to be gunning for Mace with Bossk and Aurra Sing as his back up team. Filoni gave a slightly interesting quote...

"The fans are insane about Boba Fett and never got enough of him in the films. This is our chance to get inside the mind and heart of a child who’s trying to navigate the Star Wars universe."

Plus it was mentioned that supposedly George Lucas pushed for this storyline.

This episode was kind of a mixed bag. On one hand, I really liked the way they did young Boba Fett. I thought he came off with just the right mix of bad guy and good guy. (well at least bad guy with a conscience) However, as an episode, not a whole lot happened. Part of me says it was well done, and part of me wonders if they just didn't have enough time to really make a good episode. It kind of ended up feeling like a filler episode, or a transition episode. Kind of mediocre. But I still liked it. Is it okay to like a mediocre episode? Is there such a thing as a good mediocre episode?

One thing I couldn't figure out is what's the purpose of the youth brigade? Some sort of special training regimen the Kaminoans are experimenting with? Certainly they're not really planning on sending kid clones into combat, are they?

I'd hardly call it mediocre for being simplistic. True there wasn't a lot of nice stuff to look at and its scope was pretty small, but it felt a lot more personal than most episodes. Personally, I thought it was great! They did a really good job making Boba consistent with what I already know and love; his bitterness of Mace, the clones and Jedi in general and he certainly wasn't soul-less like I feared. I look forward to what they do with Bob'ika in future episodes.
