Just announced free-to-play MMO. It looks to be a lot of fun, actually, and have pretty nice visuals. Since it is, you know, free I may actually be getting into it.

TCW hasn't been my favorite era, but for free I'll give it a shot too.

I'll play it if they don't give the ability to play as a Jedi. Don't want a bunch of jedikids coming up an ruining the fun.

I'll try it, since it's free. But I doubt it will be very good or successful.

A free Star Wars mmo?! Never thought I'd live to see the day. I've never tried one of these new, fangled things so it should be fun- although I'm not expecting much.

It's supposed to be done by same company and be very, very similar to SOE's existing free (plus micro-transactions) Free Realms MMO, which supposedly has been a great success (10 million accounts or something like that). Never played it, but one could probably get a good idea what CW Adventures is about by trying that game.

There's a free MMO out called "9Dragons," which my college roommate played to help ween him off his WoW addiction once he quit the game. He got me and our other two roommates to sign up and play too, and until I ended up with some computer issues resulting from not enough memory to properly play the game, it was a LOT of fun. Sure, you'll get advertising in the loading screens, but it was fairly unobtrusive.

If this is anything like that free MMO, I'm definitely going to be looking forward to this.

Ah yes. Addiction. The other reason I'm not really into MMOs. I doubt I'll get addicted though so I'll probably still try it.

Addiction is something I've heard people use against MMO many times nowadays. Having played Star Wars Galaxies, though, I can tell you it is very unrealistic. (In my case and for regular people)-- you can spend hours on it, but once something in real-life happens, I almost always forgot about SWG. I'd go back, from time-to-time, but I never felt I HAD to do it.
