Blood Ties is a new Dark Horse comic series that will be launching in August and will star Jango and Boba Fett. Issue one will be released on August 25, 2010 and so far only four issues are planned. The series will take place right before the Clone Wars.

Count Dooku sends Jango Fett on a mission that will affect the course of Boba Fett's life some twenty years later.

Issue one will be 40 pages long and will be written by Tom Taylor (who is also the writer for Star Wars: Invasion) and drawn by Chris Scalf (who has drawn for Legacy, issues 42, 44-46, and Purge).

Feel free to discuss!

This looks awesome! I've very much looking forward to it. Who knew we'd get to see a series with Jango and Boba interaction?! Smile

Illustration is awesome. I don't usually read comics, but I might make an exception.

Not much of a fan of Jango, but boy do I love Boba.

After playing Bounty Hunter and reading Open Seasons I've become some-what of a fan of Jango; of the bounty hunters, he's right under Boba (for obvious reasons.) Combing them, especially under the pen of Tom Taylor, has me very, very excited. Color me

The illustrations that I've seen so far certainly look nice, I'm just wondering what they can pull off with just four issues. Of course, it does make it that much easier to collect and follow along.
