Allright I'm done. Ihaven't read any of the other reviews (I'll do so as soon as I'm done) so sorry if I'm beating any dead horses.

See now, I didn't have any problems with the Mando. He reminded of the Canderous Ordo type, a hardened merc who does things that seam ghastly in a period of war. My complaint isn't that the Mando did what he did, but that the public isn't throwing riots and protests because of it. I think it would be nice if Denning mentioned some public outrage over it in the next book.

Belok Rhal, as an individual, I didn't mind. What I did mind was how the other Mandos just let him go with it. Neutral

I thought it was harsh but not totally out of character for a Mando at 'war'.

Maybe the fact that it's a sensitive issue right now is clouding my judgement. I still find it very hard to imagine someone like Mirta Gev or Goran Beviin condoning this. Even Fett- yes, he has killed people in cold blood (as his career demands), but he always targeted corrupt politicians, crime lords and the like. Certainly not a child. I still think th Mandos with there rough sense of honour would not be happy.

Definitely they have a sense of honor and duty - but remember there are some down-right nasty mandos out there (death watch for example).

Yes, I totally agree. And, like I said, Belok Rhal as an individual I don't mind, but I don't buy that all the other Mandos with him would allow him to do something like that. The Mandos split and had a war between Death Watch and the True Mandalorians, because of their moral differences. If this group seiging the Temple are Death Watch guys I'd give it my stamp of approval. I don't see any indication that they are though.
