Finished this one. As a whole, I enjoyed it.

I always love Anakin and Obi-Wan stories. Gives me the banter and the camaraderie that they had in RotS but didn't really have much time for in the film. The plot's the usual Clone Wars bit. Seps creating a bioweapon. But, hey, that's fine by me. The threat of total annihilation always makes this more interesting. While the beginning had a little much Ahsoka, I find her more likable on the written page than on the show. Padmé's bit of page time was generally well done, although I think that she and Anakin can get overly dramatic about how much they miss each other. Especially Anakin. Obviously they don't see each other for months, but if he practically hyperventilates at the sight of her, with Obi-Wan standing three feet from him, he won't be seeing her at all. Speaking of Obi-Wan, why on earth is new character Taria another former love interest? Like she wasn't Mary Sue enough without that added in. Also, there seem to be quite a few missing commas in this book. Some editor somewhere dropped the ball. But, anyway, I did like it and have just started Siege.
