I cast my vote of approval for Saloris Vorn's character Gavin Vendar.

I also approve Saralis Vorn's character.

Jedi Christopher, Darth Skuldren and myself have had their characters passed.

I can't help but notice Aeron seems to be based on Aaron Neville. I can't take a character named after singer seriously. I'd suggest changing the name.

I don't think the name is that important. He's free to have whatever name he chooses.

I'm sorry to say I'll probley cast my vote against Darth Judicar; I think we all agreed earlier that we were not going to have any force users. Save Judicar for when we do a Jedi/Sith oriented RPG.

I agree. Any name should be fine so long as it isn't a nearly identical name with a few spelling changes (Luke Skiwalker; Atten Rend etc.) Besides who doesn't base a character on a favorite character from a movie or book from time to time?

I also have to cast my vote against Darth Judicar for this RPG on the principle of no Jedi/Sith.

It's unanimous, no Sith, no Jedi. Sorry folks, no Force users allowed.

Who? I don't even know who that is. I could change his last name, when the Jedi/ Sith rpg comes along.

Well I think you should be allowed to keep the original character's name for the Jedi/Sith RPG. No one is complaining about my character's name Gavin Vendar or Darth Skuldren's character Saul Razaar or Old Master Ben's character Keenen Ackbar and the similarities of their to names to established SW characters . Therefore, since there have been no complaints with our characters names I think you should be allowed to keep your characters name.

Since we're not doing a Jedi/Sith RPG (yet) I think the issue of whether changing any aspects of your character is needed should be tabled for the time being. Otherwise its just in essence complaining/arguing for the sake of it since it would be over aspects of a character that isn't even going to be used in the up-coming RPG and thus by my estimate wouldn't really be accomplishing anything constructive/useful.

Alright, here is my character (Finally).

Name: Karis Jorvin
Age: 20
Class: Pilot, tech specialist
Weapon: Blaster pistol, green lightsaber
Appearance: Female Human, 5' 9". She has black wavy hair that she keeps pulled into a low, loose ponytail.
Other: Karis grew up on Tatooine as a slave. At the age of 14 she was sold to moisture farmers Kade and Reba Jorvin, who freed her and adopted her as there granddaughter.
Karis started working with whatever pieces of electronics she could get her hands on. She often practiced using her blaster on anything from desert pests to dangers. Kade and Reba's nephew was a freighter pilot and on his frequent visits he taught her how to fly. Then one day, he stopped coming. No one knew why.
When Karis was 19 Kade and Reba were killed when a bounty hunter named Zahllin Moore destroyed their home out of revenge. Zahllin died in his own explosion.
One of the things Karis took before she left was Zahllin's lightsaber, which she assumed he had taken from a jedi at some point in time. She figured it would probably come in handy. Then she took his ship and left Tatooine forever.
Since then she has advanced her skills while working at various odd jobs for different groups an people.

Do I need to make any changes?

Sounds good. I like how the bounty hunter killed himself in the explosion. Wink

yeah sounds like someone skipped one too many class sessions of "using bombs for assassination 101"

I also approve of BlueX-WingPilot's character Karis Jorvin.
