I thought it ended pretty well. Had some neat stuff in it. However, I can't help but wonder if there is any connection between the droids and Vuffi Ra. They're so similar.

Finished! Excellent book! I thought the book read very well, was very captivating, and very attention holding. However, being as busy as I've been, it's a shame I wasn't able to read through it as fast as I would have liked. But I did manage to read the last 200+ pages in record time. Smile

For some thoughts:

Visual proof. Vuffi Raa is like an exact representation of how the droids were described in this book. Why am I the only raising questions about this? Sad

Well I finished. I'll really discuss it in depth in Our 100th EUCast episode, Fatal Alliance is the Focus of our Spoils of War segment.

I will say this- while I enjoyed the book- it still read like The Force Heretic Series to me. I'm not sold on Sean Williams. I actually enjoyed The Force Unleashed novel, and I attributed it to the fact he had it laid out I guess. I found myself lost alot in the start and end of this book.

OMB- yeah I thought

Can't wait to discuss it more though!

You know Ula came off pretty good for the type of character he was. You didn't absolutely despise him like say Sal Solo, but you didn't completely like him either. Kind of like a balancing act where you find yourself liking him but warn yourself "don't trust him, he could betray so and so".

I finished Fatal Alliance a few days ago so, like usual, I will abstain from reading your revies so as not to taint mine. Here goes:

Well, caved and decided to pick this book up and started it. I've liked the structure of characters in the comics and will see how they do it in the books (although the blurb makes it sound like it). Will keep in touch.
