Threat of Peace Web Comic

Threat of Peace is free online web comic that complements Blood of the Empire. Just like Blood of the Empire, a new issue is put online every other Friday on www.swtor.com, however Threat of Peace follows a Jedi and shows the light side of Force, whereas Blood of the Empire shows the Sith.

Just like Blood of the Empire, the story arcs are broken into acts and so far there are three:

Act 1 - Treaty of Coruscant
Act 2 - New Galactic Order
Act 3 - Uncertain Surrender

I haven't got into the Threat of Peace series as much as I have Blood of the Empire, however it does cover a lot of the big story points such as the fall of Coruscant, the treaty, etc. Feel free to discuss Wink

Threat of Peace was released as a free webcomic before Blood of the Empire- even though Blood comes before it chronologically. Threat of Peace has even finished it's Re print in Comic form run- and Blood Of The Empire- which has one more Free webcomic will begin it's run in print coming next month.

Expect the TOR Free WebComic line to continue. At least I do.

How did you like the two IR2? I thought Threat of Peace was a little boring but I read it because it was free and I kind of like the time period and was hoping to pick up some extra factoids about it. However, Blood of the Empire is really catching my interest. If they do another free webcomic, I wouldn't be surprised if they followed a...do they call them Republic commandos?...a Republic soldier at least...and maybe contrast it with a Sith soldier in the opposing ranks.

An interesting story, and really had me going there for awhile, but the last Act just totally threw me for a loop. It wasn't nearly as interesting, and it was way too fast paced and confusing. It was like, "Wait...what?!"

Oh, and personally, I thought the illustrations were horrible. It really distracted from the story... Neutral

Yeah, the illustrations were much better in Blood of the Empire.

Oh, that's true, I didn't even consider that. I forgot the peace talks hadn't been concluded when the attack took place. Good point. Smile
