Because Siri was obnoxious? I just found her a totally unlikable character. I actually like Satine.

I like Satine too.

I don't know. If you take away the fact she's a Pacifist Mandalorian, I think she's a fine character. I like , and can identify with, how she's stubbornly idealistic.

Ah, but I don't hate her because she's part of the Wimp Mandolorians, I hate her because of....her. Voice, lines, and characterazation all annoy me.

Unfortunately no. Just more peace loving hippies. It hurts every time I see a Mandalorian episode. Sad I know it is GL's universe, but it makes me so mad.

I didn't watch this episode because I wasn't interested by the commercial at the end of the last one. Was it any good?

I tried to watch it twice, and I still need to watch it again. I'm having trouble sitting through it. One thing I don't get is who are those green alien guys? I don't recall their species.

So-so. I liked the direction they went with Satine's character; making her be brash, remniscient of Anakin. But it was very talky and it was full of ironic statements such as "We[the Mandalorians] are people of tradition."

If their old tradition was nuking planets and slaughtering their foes, then what's their new tradition? Letting themselves be plagued by terrorists, criminals, and outlaws? Yeah, sounds like a good new tradition to adopt. Much better than the old life. Getting walked over is much more fun. Especially with everyone jammed in those cube cities, makes it easier to find someone to step on.

If I were on Mandalore, I'd be buying a ticket to the moon.

That makes sense though- as a Senator who came to the planet late in her life she's trying to identify with her people and the Mandos ARE a people of tradition Wink

Now costume changes- the costumes wouldn't have been so bad, but even the hair? Come on! Lazy...... And it just doesn't make sense. Why would these two women change so often and keep up the pretense of never changing at all.

Actually I love Satine. She retconned that whole Siri/Obi-Wan stupid teenage romance. :D

But she hasn't. Siri's story still happened. Satines is just in addition to. Which I still don't think there was a "real" relationship there between Satine and him. I think they implied plenty but I didn't see it as a full admition. The episode guide laid it out more that it WAS a real one, but I have a hard time buying that off of what we've been given.
