Hey does anyone else notice that on the sites main page the text goes into the blue on some lines?

I sign in and accepts me. I, then click the "view forums unread button". Instead of linking me to the appropriate link, I then have to sign in again and once I sign in, my unread post is zero, never to be seen again.

What's going on????

Dance, I have had this problem multiple times in Google Chrome. I do not have this problem in IE, however. So...I blame it on the browser. Unfortuntately, this means I must open the Cantina in IE every time, causing me to have multiple browsers open, since I like to use Chrome for my other browsing. However, it's not that big a deal. At least I can see the posts I miss. Smile

If it still does it for you in IE, though...Sad

98% of the time (using Chrome), I have to sign in twice, resulting in the erasure of all the posts I missed. Very annoying. Grr...

I actually had it in IE and Mozilla but when using Chrome it is beyond less frequent

I use Firefox as my browser and it's set to delete all cookies once I close the browser. I didn't click the "read unread posts" today and everything went fine...*shrugs*

Interesting. Well, I use Firefox, have my sign in set to automatic and the unread posts automatically show up for me. Recently I had to delete all the cookies, and had to sign in but I still had all the unread posts show up automatically. Do they not show up automatically for everyone else?

I have no issue with Firefox, I have it marked to remember me, and it's always ready with new posts for me.

I have the issue of it the site says there have only been 3 new posts since I last came to the page and I have read at least 15 new posts. I don't know why they don't all register......

Yoda:

One possible problem is that the site will erase all new posts from your "New Posts" log once you sign off. Whether you have read them or not, everything defaults to "Old Posts" when you sign off. So say you were logged in for an hour or so without reading anything, and then log off. There may be 15 new posts you didn't read, but they won't be marked as such the next time you login.

The site only counts the number of posts that have been made since you last logged off and your most recent login.

If this is not the case, then I am most perplexed. We've never noticed a problem with the post count before. Confused

But thanks for mentioning it! If there is indeed an error, someone will be sure to check it out. Smile

That might be the problem. I'll try and see.

Lately, EUC Forums have been signing me out without my consent. I click on a post, press back, and I'm signed out. Sad
