Yes, indeed, Vortex was amazing. The final pages did nothing to diminish its awesomeness, so thankfully I do not have to rescind my earlier statement. Smile

Overall: 9 out of 10.

Now, to the semi-detailed analysis!

Anyway, that's a very long summary on my opinions of Vortex. But I just had to share. Great book overall. Would suggest it to anyone and everyone. You have no idea the awesomeness that awaits you. Wink

Oooh! FOr your #1 I saw those as the same scene covered from a slightly different POV. like in Saving Private Ryan- gun enthusiasts complained that the number of bullets used, and that too many were used. the directors said that it wasn't that more bullets were used- but that some bullets were heard firing form multiple shots. Shot one guy fires, shot 2 same bullet fires again from a different angle. That helps me sometimes Laughing

2- I think the Barabel mating was coming- I had always gotten the feeling that as lizards there awas a bit of incest going on, and having Saba want to keep some things private makes sense- as Barabels kill to defend their young. but having Barv and Allana show up could be the thing that saves Allan if Barv is still Barvy.

3 Feel you there. I think Dorvan could be our next COS Wink

Did you read the conviction??!!

Must know your thoughts!

You mean the excerpt at the back of the book? Yeah, I did. I commented on that, too. Check out #1 in my "On the Fence" section above. Smile

Ha, I stopped in pretty much the same place last night. It was like, "Gah, I just can't do it. Must have sleep." Wink
