Troubled by Asajj Ventress' growing prowess with the dark side of the Force, Darth Sidious commands Count Dooku to eliminate her. Mother Talzin, leader of the Nightsisters, veils Asajj and her fellow assassins in a cloak of invisibility, and they infiltrate Dooku's palace on Serenno. Did it at least do the Nightsisters justice?

I loved it! I was rambling about it and the EU on We Talk Clones tonight. I mean - ok so KL didn't do a extensive amount of research, but she did hit all the major parts for this ole Rogue.

When she let her rage consume her on the flagship and suddenly bests Obi and Anakin- Talk about DS!

The planet Dathomir worked for me- I never think a planet on any SW project is entirely one thing, unless specifically said so. So for me I thought the desert like environment was perfect. I wouldn't imagine a DS user's place thriving with greenery.

And the use of Magik vs the Force as we've known it used was cool as well.

I also liked seeing all the new models for the characters as well.

For more check out this weeks WTCs. Wink

It was just different from the way I'd imagined the Nightsisters. Too technologically advanced, for one thing.

I thought this episode was very well done actually. The first half really felt like I was watching one of the movies. The space battle, lightsaber duel (finally a pretty good one), and dialouge was well done. The second half was also good. The Dathomiri witches were surprisingly faithful to the EU ones and the little nod at the end to Dathomirir female supremacy was nice. The tech thing doesn't really bother me because the witche's have different tribes so I could easily see the one on here as just a more technilogically advanced Dathomiri tribe. Typically I don't mind witches and things as long as they're on the bad side (think Prince Caspian). Hopefully this episode is a sign that the days of political intrigue is over and we can finally get into the Force/mythology stuff we were promised at the beginning of the season.

Ha, I had kind of forgotten about the beginning of the episode. I did enjoy the lightsaber duel. Although I did wonder at Ventress' choice of a floor length skirt. All right, all right, I'm done nitpicking,
