I was thrown off by the Zabraks - they had tattoos like Maul but I thought those were Sith tattoos. So are those guys Sith assassins, even though the Sith are supposed to be extinct? Seems odd to have a colony of Sith assassins with no Sith. Maybe assassins for the Night sisters.

Other than that it was really violent for a kids show - I agree there. I think one problem the show suffers from is it seems to try and cater to too wide an audience. We have solid life lessons from some episodes - and then this episode - where the violence feels somewhat senseless. I hope they are using Savage's desire to protect his brother before his transformation as a path to his redemption. Then again they were training to be assassins (or am I wrong and they just like to fight their family in skirts?).

Overall this was one of the better episodes even with the violence. It just seems too easy to get a Sith assassin to me, should be harder.

The tat's my thoughts on it- the SITH TATs are the RED, Mauls Dathomiri tats would be the black Other Sith (Legacy era) would mimic Maul's styling.

No the Witches of Dathomir will cause Palpatine to grow fearful- thus cutting the planet off. The Chun'thor had already crashed there some time ago and Yoda himself had to negotiate the Jedi survivors release. At some point Palpatine will as Emperor declare the world a quarantine, in a sense. Not allowing any ships onto the surface.

The Iridonian's men- The Nightbrothers are warriors they were training to be that, Dathomir is a barbarian type of place in many ways at the point. Their culture (Nightsisters, Witches, and now Nightbrothers) was what drove them.

The women prized strong men, but they had a very definite hold on the males. They were slaves in a sense- if not out right.

I want more. But I know I shouldn't. It was a good episode, and I could only wish for it to be longer. And, while I was okay with there being Zabraks on the planet (because I knew the backstory beforehand) I really wished they'd done more to discern each Zabrak. It was only until the end that I knew which one Savage was, and that was because he was the only one standing, so that when they called him Savage it could really only be him.
Speaking of the end (wow, I actually quite liked this episode but all I can remember much is the bad bits. Eesh!) I wasn't that big a fan of them turning Savage into an unthinking brute. Well, he may be smart and quick witted, but he didn't come across as that at all.
