The irony of the title and the dates is incredible. Razz

Tsk, tsk. Gimmicky marketing.

Are less books being published now than the past, or does it just seem that way -- potentially because less interest me? E.g., 10 years ago same amount of books, but all NJO, and thus all ones I'd read, whereas now, I'm not nearly as interested in FOTJ as I was NJO, etc.

Also the world will allegedly end Dec. 21 (or 23), so we're good for Apocalypse.

What's the release date? December 21st? Rolling Eyes

That wasn't actually a question, I was just being sarcastic.

Actually, it's in April. But still...how does it get moved from November to April? If they're pushing it back to make sure the the story is incredibly awesome, I shall forgive them. Wink

I think you'll be pleased. Sue gave the reason for moving it back so they have more time to polish it off, or something to that effect.

She also mentioned that there's no current plans for Post-Fate of the Jedi books. But hopefully maybe there will be at least one around Christmas 2013 the end of Del Rey's current contract.

Actually I'm disappointed that Apocalypse has been pushed back again to April 2012. I was looking forward to read a major SW novel with the Big Three and co. having the possible major showdown with the Lost Sith Tribe just before next Christmas. I'm also disapppointed that The Essential Guide to Warfare has been pushed back to next March. I was looking forward to read that this summer along with Zahn's new SW novel Choices of One and FOTJ:Ascension.

I just hope the delay for Apocalypse will be worth it. And I hope there will be a massive climatic space battle at the climax of Apocalypse with the Jedi,Galactic Alliance and the Lost Sith Tribe.

I wonder what'll take place in this, it sure sounds interesting.

I just hope it has a proper ending.

I don't like it. Sad

Luke looks totally copy/pasted in there, and the background looks like somebody made it in Paint.

And why Luke for the three hundred and fifty-seventh time?! Can we not have somebody else on a cover, for crying out loud?

I dunno...I am disappointed. Confused

It does book end the first and last cover, but I do share your disappointment, Mara Jade Skywalker. I'm hoping for Jaina/Jag (or any Star Wars EU character) for the back cover!

I fully expected Luke. Remember that there is a back cover, so Jaina or someone else is still possible.

I love it! I'm slightly disappointed that it's Luke again but other than that I have no complaints. Smile
