Woah, it's on Netflix?! Awesome! I've caught a few episodes on TV, but never watched all of the episodes in order. I know what I'll be doing this weekend. Smile

@Reep: Let us know what you think! Oh, and the first couple episodes start a little slow. Hang in there, it gets better.

Just watched episode one. It was charming, but like you said, I'm sure the best is yet to come. Wink

The three books remind me a lot of the original trilogy, which isn't at all surprising when you look at each creators inspirations.

And the best is yet to come, check out episode 2 Laughing

No, that's not accurate. Once you hear several recognizable voices, that's when it get's really good Wink

If I remember correctly, the first two episodes drag a bit. Lots of setup. But then it's on!

This is one of those series that you initially ignore as a "children's cartoon". Then, when your sister insists that you watch all three seasons over summer break, you find yourself crying during the finale and on an emotional high for the next couple days. So...I give major kudos to the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Smile

I loved the show. I'm just glad they decided to give us one more mini series Wink

I was looking at what Dave Filoni did for this series. He directed eight episodes, all in the first season, including the first two. I think work on TCW would have started sometime during the second season.

When I watched it, I did notice that. When he disappeared in season 2, I figured something new had come along and the Clone Wars could have been it. And when I saw Andrea Romero was the voice director, that makes sense why certain voice actors also appeared in the series. I've begun to really like watching credits and looking for names I know Smile

I was able to watch the entire series in 8 days. I normally watched from about 11:00 PM - 2:00 in the morning.

It is the greatest TV show I have ever seen. I have more thoughts than I can remember or feel like writing down. But... I just had an idea. I'll get back to you on it. Smile

Glad you liked it. I wouldn't say greatest show I've ever seen but I've watched it all 3 times since seeing the movie (but there's a few months in there of no action until I got Netflix to check it out).

I'm more excited for the digest sized comics next year following where book 3 leaves off but we'll see.
