Timothy Zahn is desperately needed to do Post-FOTJ novels

Ben Skywalker seems like the type of character Zahn would write. I can see a young adult Ben being very similar to Thrawn in Outbound Flight, sans Chiss culture and with lightsaber.

Personally any future Zahn novel with Ben Skywalker post-FOTJ would make an awesome basis for SW Episodes VII-IX. I hope to see post-FOTJ Ben get his own starfighter or maybe his own YT-1300 stocklight freghter like the Millennium Falcon or maybe he'll just inherit his mother's sip the Jade Shadow. Or maybe he'll lead a fleet of ships with his own Galactic Alliance star destroyer or Galactic Alliance Corellian Corvette cruiser perhaps against a threat or a condeferacy of threats in the Unknown Regions in a possible Zahn Ben Skywalker hardcover standalone or trilogy.

Zahn should bring back the Empire of the Hand in a future Ben Skywalker novel as well as a Thrawn clone since somebody in Dark Nest said to expect the EotH to rise again. Ben should team up with not just the Thrawn clone but the Empire of the Hand in a future Unknown Regions adventure.

Zahn should have Ben be married to Vestara Khai(if Troy Dennng will have Ben fall in love with Vestara in Apocalypse) and take on Allana as his padawan. It would be awesome if Ben inherits the Millennium Falcon from Uncle Han Solo 10 years or so after FOTJ.

I wouldn't mind seeing a book by Zahn focusing on Jag trying to consolidate his control on the Empire. Seeing Zahn showing Jag bring his Chiss training to the Empire and the conflicts that would create among the Moffs.

You know, I wouldn't actually mind that. I came late to the EU, so I knew all the basic plots, like Jag being made Emperor. I had thought that it would be an heroic struggle from nothing to become the Emperor. I remember thinking, throughout the LOTF series, '4/3/2 books to go, when is Jag going to make his move for the top spot?' and in the last book, when it still hadn't happened, I thought it would happen in the Falcon book, or Crosscurrent, but then I read that it was given to him by 'the grown ups', I felt more than a little disappointed. An untested space jockey taking over the Imperial Remnant? That didn't sit well with me, so I'm more than happy to have a political thriller based on your idea.

I wonder if Jag is going to remain a likeable/sympathetic character after he becomes the Emperor. Should be interesting.
