Inverse of Your Expanded Universe

A lot of people had trouble with eliminating a minimum of ten books or series from the Expanded Universe. I suspect this will be substantially harder.

Let's say hypothetically you were working for George Lucas, or were otherwise in a situation in which he asked your advice. Under this scenario, he says that due to fan reaction to contradictions between his show and the Expanded Universe, he's basically considering revamping the Expanded Universe to coincide with a new TV show he's doing that stars Han, Luke, and Leia which is going to vary in timeline from after the original Star Wars to after Return of the Jedi -- ALTERNATIVELY, an anthologized TV show that spans the entire gamut of Star Wars history.

Consequently, he wants you to list for him twenty books, comics, video games, etc. which you think he should maintain within the Expanded Universe (let's assume that the films and TCW are by default staying in continuity). Everything else is getting expunged.

1) The Force Unleashed series (presuming third one is made or novelized)
2) Shadows of the Empire
3) Thrawn trilogy
4) Dark Empire trilogy
5) Hand of Thrawn duology
6) New Jedi Order
7) Dark Lord trilogy
8) Cloak of Deception
9) Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter (I'm presuming Saboteur is included, <3 Luceno)
10) Darth Maul miniseries
11) The Han Solo Adventures (Daley)
12) The Clone Wars microseries
13) Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor
14) Shatterpoint
15) Rogue Planet
16) Outbound Flight and Survivor's Quest
17) Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan: The Aurorient Express
18) Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan: Last Stand on Ord Mantell
19) Dark Forces saga
20) Life, Death, and the Living Force

I think this exercise kind of shows what sort of stuff you like.

There's one problem I have with your list, Dream. You say, in your hypothetical, Lucas is going to make a new series starring the big three. Yet only half, or less than half, depending on how you look at it, involve Luka, Han and Leia.

Okay, well, I'd keep almost everything post ROTJ. However, if it's just 20 things (assuming we're allowed to count a series as one thing)

here is where it gets iffy. I'm liking FOTJ, and I definitely want to keep Legacy in this hypothetical, but I'm wondering if that has to mean I'd keep LOTF. I have nothing against it, just think it could be better.

15 Kyle Katarn/Jaden Korr game series

That's pretty much it for a Post ROTJ list. Now let's incorporate the idea to include all eras.

Dream did say it could alternately be a show that covers everything, and even if it was only the big 3 show, there's still a matter of history and backstory.
