You could probably find out with genetic testing. That's how we found out what our dog is. I'm not sure what it it would cost though (if anything)...

Okay, I am still somewhat annoyed by my sister, but as to the dog, I am somewhat relieved. It is one of the rare breeds, so it came with a certificate of, I don't know what it's called, its lineage? Anyway, it's a Samoyed. While it can get bored easily, and start chewing things and digging in the garden, it's an otherwise perfect dog for us. Even if it is larger than most of us!

Ooh, and one of its great grand dams? Was called Jadzia Dax Laughing

Beautiful dog, Life! Yeah, the Samoyeds are gorgeous. I used to be all knowledgeable concerning dog breeds, and I may have been able to tell you that was a Samoyed. I certainly recognized it. But glad you found out for sure. Smile

Life, I looked at the picture of you dog yesterday and last night I had a dream and there were three dogs that all looked like yours, but I'm pretty sure they were black. I woke up this morning and realized that. All I could think was "Weird." Wink

the parrot does say "hi" but he's not quite a year old so he's got many years ahead to learn plenty of words and phrases.

I'm hoping the bird will someday learn "may the Force be with you" and "Yooooo Joe!"

Awesomeness! I actually just learned about people keeping those as pets on Tuesday. Something about the actual poison is dependent on their diet? So they're safe to keep as pets as long as the diet is regulated. Smile
