Snowballs or snowcones?

Snowballs, duh! They were invented that way!  30%  [ 3 ] Snowcones, of course! You throw snowballs, dummy!  70%  [ 7 ]

You cannot acquire a snowcone in south Louisiana. They do not exist. Padme is probably the only one who will back me up on this. Apparently Louisiana is a strange place. Although...! You can get them in Mississippi, too. Cause we live near the border, and we can buy them in MS anytime. My mom also grew up in Douglas, GA, and they had snowballs, too. But from asking around, I cannot find anyone else (outside of south LA) who calls them that. So...what do you call them? And here are some photos, for proof. I've never thought about it before but I would say your description for "snowcones" in the poll options is spot on as to why they aren't know as "snowballs" here in New York. _________________
