Obi/Anakin duel 2. obi-jin/maul 3. anakin/dooku #2(because I loved anakin's face as dooku taunted him). 4. windu/palpy, although in response to IR2, I don't think GL gives a flying poop about Vapaad(or any other specific technique for that matter). The details of the fight in the novel were pretty good.

DarthSkywalker Padawan Joined: 24 Apr 2010 Posts: 33 Location: Warren, MI My Favorite Duel is Anakin vs Obi-Wan. Epic Battle of Former best friends fighting to the Finish. My 2nd Favorite is from Episode 1 Darth Maul vs Obi-Wan & Qui-Gon Jinn. another Awesome Lightsaber battle.

VileZero Master Joined: 21 Mar 2010 Posts: 813 Location: Maryland My problem with the Obi/Anakin duel is that it jumps in time, along with the Yoda/Sidious duel. I really hope that when the movies are re-released with more tweeks, we get the duels in their entirety. It's the only thing that really keeps me from appreciating them both. Otherwise, my favorite duel is probably the Darth Maul triple battle.

As did most things during the midnight release, like Mace and the Jedi entering Palpatine's office. I didn't see AOTC at midnight. I think it was a few days after it came out... but I remember incredibly loud cheering for the moments when you see Mace's back as he comes behind Dooku, and when you see Yoda's shadow when he arrives to fight Dooku. And that wasn't even at midnight! Star Wars fans are the best to watch with.

Old Master Ben Administrator Joined: 10 Nov 2007 Posts: 2254 Location: Georgia As for my favorite prequel duel... I'd put Yoda and Palpatine first, followed by the Darth Maul three-way. Palpatine and Mace would probably be third, and then I guess I'd have to put Anakin and Obi-Wan (didn't like it as much as I thought I would).
