Fanboys!

I just got home from seeing Fanboys, and I have to say it is fantastic. If it's at a theater near you, GO AND SEE IT. Pardon the capslock, I'm still excited. Very Happy

They just announced that the movie is coming to more cities, so hopefully everyone will get a chance to watch the film. I've posted some pictures from the Atlanta premiere on my blog.

Yay! Just finished watching it for the, what, 50th time? Something like that. It is one of the best films ever made! It sits on my movie self, (even though I don't know where to put it chronologically speaking because it is before TPM but not A Long Time Ago).

Also, I never get inspired by movie speeches and the like but man when I saw this in theaters I left saying "I need to find my Death Star!"

Fanboys is about a group of 4 long time friends and Star Wars friends who have drifted apart. One of them get ill and the group sets out on an adventure. It's set 6 months before the release of TPM and the guys drive out to CA to try and sneak into Skywalker Ranch to see the rough cut of TPM. Along the way the meet Trekkies, bikers, and one of the guy's internet "life partner" : Rouge Leader. And you won't believe the number of cameos in this movie!
