Hmmm...I dunno, maybe that's what I like about it. I generally like a more simple design. Nothing too flashy or detailed. But that's just me. And not always. I suppose I can just appreciate such a design at times. *shrugs*

TFN got confirmation from Lucasfilm on the DVD/Blu Ray Box art. The cover posted earlier in the thread will be the box art.

Meh. I still don't like it. It just looks like, to me, that he should be holding a baseball bat.

Ha ha ha ha! I didn't notice that before. You guys are totally right. He should be holding a baseball bat. "And the mighty Anakin stepped up to bat..."

Nice cover, does anyone know when it will be released?
And are the Region 1 DVDs and the Region 2 DVDs generally released at the same time?
Thank you.

In the UK, the region 2 DVDs are generally released about a week or two behind region 1. You're in SA, right? I think it's about the same there. But they've not given the release date yet.

Wow, rather blah cover, that.

I'll be picking it up on Blu-Ray, personally. The series is absolutely gorgeous in high definition, though something feels lost in the TV HD airings compared to the actual BDs.

Remember the old school, original Clone Wars cartoon?

It's not on Blu Ray. Think there are any plans to release it, or not likely?

I have one of the volumes on DVD! I don't recall which at the moment. But I've been trying to find the other. Not the easiest suckers to get hold of. I remember when Ciruit City (back in the day) had them on sale, and I told my sister, "Nah, those are just those dumb cartoons." So young! So naive! Sad

I remember them, and have both volumes on DVD. I really couldn't stand the show, when it first aired. I think the last I saw of it was Ventress's 'I am Sith' line before I gave up. A while ago I bought the DVDs on amazon, because I felt it would be required viewing, despite my objections.

I haven't seen it on Blu Ray, though I haven't been looking. My guess is they won't be doing it any time soon.

Sorry, is it just me or are the DVD's ludicrously expensive? The ones I've seen are like 40 pounds! How silly. And "Star Wars: Clone Wars" (which I like more) is equally stupidly priced. 12 three minute episodes for like 20 pounds! You could just watch them on Youtube, and I'm always against piracy and bit torrent and downloading stuff illegally, but they deserve it if they're gonna price it like that!
