On page 64 in Omen, it says Ben has green eyes...I thought he has blue ones like his Dad.
It seems like the authors just write Ben however they like him best...I honestly don't know if he has blue or green eyes, or blond or red hair?!?!

Ben has been replaced by a shapeshifter and nobody in the in-universe notices it, only the readers. Shocked

Yes, but Omen states that he still has red hair! So ha, and so there. Take that you cover artists, you. Cool

Well the above spoilers have nothing to do with Backlash and everything to do with the Allies blurb. If you don't care about the spoiler they had in the Allies blurb then you're safe to read the above.

I like the relationship of Ben and Vestara. It's interesting to see a Jedi and Sith couple... the Romeo and Juliet of Star Wars Laughing It will probably not end in long-tern relationship or marriage, and I don't think either would defect.

I'm going to try to follow here the little chat we had about Ben yesterday in another threat, so, I'll quote the post.

Werehunter wrote:
Wait, why should Ben be the next Grandmaster. In fact I think having him take over right after Luke dies would be a horrible choice. Let Ben continue to grow as a character and as a Jedi before something like that. Show that Ben can work under someone other then family before getting the big seat.

I'm guessing this is likely a no go because of things stated in Star Wars: Legacy, but I wouldn't make Ben the Grandmaster at all. Already people are saying that the Jedi are lost without Luke, do we really want it to become lost without a Skywalker at the helm.

It's a fact. Ben will be Grand Master, since he is the only one who will have such trainning.

And about Legacy series... Isn't that what people were waiting of Cade?

It's a shoe in that Ben will be Grandmaster, but the question is whether he will be the next Grandmaster, or if he'll have to wait.

Since there seems to be a bit of holding off on any post-FOTJ novels, it may be a while before we ever find out.

Luke is not going to die tomorrow, so I bet Ben will be ready when his father will die. And the next Grand Master it's Saba -until Luke will come back.

Why is Ben a shoe in to be Grandmaster? Right now he has shown very little leadership skills and has been manipulated several times. Granted he's still young so I won't say there's no chance but other then him being Luke's son, there's no reason anyone would be suggesting he should be Grandmaster one day. Just because someone is powerful in the Force doesn't mean they should be in charge. If that was the case, Kyp should be running things. They've often stated that Kyp is more powerful then Luke.

For those who think that Ben should be Grandmaster one day, give me one reason why that has nothing to do with who his parents are.

Do you want a reason? Ok, then. It's something no one else have.

Reason: A special training to be Grand Master.
