Announced today, the third novel in TOR novel series will be called Revan and will center around the iconic character from the Kotor video game. For all the information, thus far, on the novel, check out: http://www.eucantina.net/archives/10381

Yahoo! I'm not even a big KOTOR fan, but I am super excited for this. It's what I thought they would have Drew write, and they did! Very happy that he has such a fantastic subject to deal with for the third TOR book.

To say that I'm excited for this is an understatement; sure, I'm a little disappointed that I have to learn Revan's fate in a novel rather than a game, but I have full faith that Drew can do it, and do it well. The fact that he's spending time with the events from the end of Kotor 2 to years before the TOR era is what I think will really make it great, giving the chance to fully develop Revan's story and him as such a dynamic character.

Nah, you'll get his fate in TOR too.

Totally stoked, even if I did predict it MONTHS ago. Cool

Finally we'll get to know what happened to Revan after KOTOR! Couldn't be more excited about this.
And by Drew Karpyshyn. That's when you know it's going to be good!

I feel prescient.

Edit: I guess it was kind of obvious.

About freaking time!!!

I couldn't be more excited about new novel news!

Hopefully we finally learn Revan and the Exile's real names, and get some more information about a bunch of stuff from this era.

Ideally, I'd like to see some game flash-backs to characterize the others from KOTOR.

This is going to be awesome. (Really hoping Hk-47 will make an appearance)

HK all of the way! I'd love to see HK and T3 interact.

Well, the book should at least tell us how the Ebon Hawk ended up with T3, Kreia and a busted up HK-47 at the beginning of KOTOR II.
I dont know how much we can expect to read about the Exile though. That seems to me like a different story altogether.

According to the interview the book will not retale the games' stories. Unfortunate for me, because I've never played them. Hopefully I'll still understand it.

I love the first game but I never played the second. I think it should be fine though.
