Mirta Gev was probably my favourite new character in Legacy of the Force and I was really looking forward to seeing where she would go in the future. Now that Traviss quit and her home has had cubist renovations, her future may be bleak or worse... non-existant. Sad

I know! My thoughts exactly. I love Mirta. I really hope we get to see more of her. I can hope... Sad

*chuckles* Very funny. I'm also disappointed that we probably won't see more of Mirta (or Sintas, for that matter) in the near future. I really loved Mirta and how her relationship with Boba progressed. It was touching....in a tough, Mando sort of way. Wink

Thanks guys. Smile I loved all the Boba/Mirta scenes too, Padme. Sad

The Fett line shouldn't die out. If Mirta goes the Fett line dies. That would be lousy.

I forgot about Mirta. She's a great character and I wish she would see future action in the EU, but like many of Traviss' creations, I fear she'll be in limbo for a long while before any other authors do anything else with her (if ever).

I hope they come back to it at some point. I agree Mirta was a very cool character, especially with her complicated relationships to Boba and Jaina.

I think as more time passes and tempers settle Del Rey may come back to these characters. I mean its been a really long time since Crimson Empire came out and now we are getting Crimson Empire III!

Agreed. I don't think we've seen the last of them.

However, I hope you all forgive me for going slightly off topic-but I was wondering about the clones who have settled on Mandalore. The virus that was released into the atmosphere, the one designed to kill Fett and his relatives, doesn't that mean the clones would be affected, too? Would they be dead - if they were on the ground at the time, I mean?

I would say the clone or children of clones would be dead.

I'll be honest, I really don't think the Fett genes are all that important. Mandos are big on adoption anyway. As long as the name lives on, Fett lives on. I'd be happy with a Clan Fett, regardless of any genetic ties. Though it'd be nice if Mirta did continue on, and maybe create some branches so the line wasn't so tenuous. There's also Fett's sister.

True but she's insane. I don't think any Mando in his right mind is going to try to romance her.

Isn't she already married, though?

Being crazy doesn't necessarily rule you out, to a Mando!

I don't recall if she is but she'd be a hand full. Back to Mirta, she has the Fett genes, so is the virus going to off her?
