There's a fanfic trilogy by an author known as blank101 on FanFiction.Net. It is a AU trilogy that begins with the end of ESB. Simply wonderful and fast paced to read. If I may, I would suggest that all you SW fans check it out. All three stories are pretty long, but I barely notice while reading it.

Here are the links:

The Son of Suns Trilogy Part II: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4344112/1/In_Shadows_and_Darkness

Hmm, if I copy these, save them as PDF's, then I could read them on my Kindle. Definitely worth a try.

Skuldren, if you read the trilogy, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts when you're finished. It's rare I get to discuss fanfic with anyone because I hardly participate in FF.net's Community. Just not quite like here, methinks.

There was a fanfic writer on TFN that I really liked, I'll have to look him back up. I did some proofreading for a story I don't think he ever posted, but it was was really good stuff. Read just like a novel.

Edit: found him, jmann, he wrote some good stuff. http://fanfic.theforce.net/fanfic.asp?action=index&sort=search&author1=2146&author2=0&author3=0&matchAuthor=1&keywords=&matchKeyword=1&genre1=0&genre2=0&matchGenre=1&timePeriod1=0&timePeriod2=0&matchTimePeriod=1&pchar1=0&pchar2=0&pchar3=0&pchar4=0&matchPchars=1&schar1=0&schar2=0&matchSchars=1&rating=1&rating=2&rating=3&sortResults=dateadded&dir=D

If you have ever been inspired by Tron to play Disc Wars with your siblings using DVDs...I highly recommend using bad discs. They're not as durable as you think. Neutral

Facebook is straight out of horror-dystopian fiction. Shocked

That technology seems similar to Google Goggles, in which you can take photos of landmarks and such and it will attempt to identify it. I suspect that these forms of technology will be useful for law enforcement... either identifying individuals in photographs or identifying locations in photographs.
