Jan is definately my favorite artist. Nobody can beat her Republic + Legacy drawings!

My top three would be Chris Trevas, Jeremy Jarvis, and Raven Mimura.

I guess I'd pick Trevas as my favorite of the three.

Mr, Trevas, hands down. Tommy Lee Edwards is pretty good as well.

As for comics, Dustin Weaver.

Tommy Lee Edwards I thought ruined a lot of potentially good artwork in Jedi vs. Sith and NEC. I just thought his artwork was...messy.

Art: Matt Busch (but he hasn't done a lot of EU), so I'll say Tommy L. Edwards.

Comic Book Art: Dustin Weaver and Brian Ching tie

Comic Book Cover Art: Travis Cherest

Some of Edwards stuff is a little odd but I did like his portrait of Darth Ruin. Very awesome!

And he did a classic cantina scene as well...

Some of his pictures are good...but in my opinion, most aren't. The Anakin/Obi-Wan one was horrendous.

That's because he doesn't use anything beyond his hands; all other artist use the computer-- he doesn't.

I know...I just don't like the style. But in no way can I do any of that, so I have to give him credit for that.

Edwards has a great style. I could see how some people wouldn't like it.... but as an aspiring artist I really think it's great stuff. I also like that he uses more traditional methods. I've used Photoshop, and it's a lot easier than using paints. From the looks of it he uses acrylics and pencils.

I want to use Photoshop so badly but it is so expensive!
