I am delighted to be able to post on this site (it took me a while to finally get to log in), and I look forward to the opportunity to enjoy talking with all of you. I am something of a newbie to the EU. I loved the original movies, and I really enjoy the franchise as a whole. Any help or suggestions to make me a better member would be appreciated. So if you're new to the EU I'm curious- which would you be more open to- comics, books, audiobooks? There are so many great stories to be read, but it really should come down to where you'd like to go. You can pick any part of the timeline. Dating back 25,000 before Episode 4, to the Legacy comic series set 140 years past episode 4 with Luke's descendants. My favorite series was The New Jedi Order, but then I started around that time.
