The reverse has happened for me. While I can't remember my thoughts from back then, I do believe that I had the thought of expectation in mind. Something that, as a Star Wars fan, should not have. This, I believe, led me to be disappointed with the show. However, looking back (I got the first season for my birthday) I can appreciate it for what it was. Not the best show, but the stories were decent, in my opinion. Now, with season three, I feel like I can enjoy the show more, now, and so I am, oddly enough, looking forward to season 4.
Oh, and Skuls: 10 minutes, tops . _________________ I am a Star Wars fan. That doesn't mean that I hate or love Jar Jar. That doesn't mean I hate or love Lucas, or agree or disagree 100% with him. That doesn't mean I prefer the PT over the OT, or vice versa. That doesn't mean I hate the EU, or even love all of it. These are not prerequisites. Being a man is not a prerequisite. Being a geek is not a prerequisite. The only prerequisite is that I love something about Star Wars. I am a Star Wars fan.
