Jedi Joe Master Joined: 11 Jun 2009 Posts: 1348 I liked the first "No...", but the second "NOOOOOOOO!" was quite unnecessary. Otherwise, I'm really indifferent. I'm still buying the blu-rays, going to CVI, and viewing the 3D movies.

That doesn't mean I hate the EU, or even love all of it. These are not prerequisites. Being a man is not a prerequisite. Being a geek is not a prerequisite. The only prerequisite is that I love something about Star Wars. I am a Star Wars fan.

Jedi Joe Master Joined: 11 Jun 2009 Posts: 1348 Overall responses to the changes I've seen: -Krayt Dragon: BOO! It sounds like Jar-Jar barfing! -Vader saying "NOOOOOO!": Eh... The second yell ruined it for me. -Dug in Jabba's Palace: Great! -Han Solo released from carbonite: Didn't really notice a major difference besides the "rays". -Jabba's door: Didn't understand why they did that, but okay... -CGI Yoda in TPM: YES!!!! :D -Re-colored Jabba in TPM: Indifferent. -Luke's lightsaber construction: Would have answered a big question I had when I was younger! -Re-done lightsabers: Okay in some scenes. -Greedo STILL shooting first: Actually makes it seem that Han would have shot first anyway, which kinda restores his theatrical personality I guess... A lot of scenes with CGI characters have lines of sight that don't match up. This, and Obi-Wan's line of sight, for obvious reasons, do match up, and that I'm very pleased with. It's only a minor thing, but thought it worth mentioning. I'm wondering if it was very difficult, to replace the puppet, because if not then it might be something other movies take on board. That was a hard lighting situation to pull off, but it almost looks like Yoda's face as it was lit up by his fire on Dagobah. I'm not sure what it is, but Yoda in that scene looks the more like OT puppet Yoda than any other CGI version we've seen yet. Something about the fullness of his face, the lighting on his head...

The Ewok eyes look better now that I've seen it in motion.
