Knight Errant Book and Comic by John Jackson Miller

Nice find! I'm liking the ring ship. Actually, just from this picture, I'm loving it. It feels more lived-in than the fighters, like it has more character. I can't wait to see what its role in the comics is. But even if it's a small one, I'll still be happy, because I can think up a good few ideas for it.

Well I finally read the last issue of the Deluge arc. I was disappointed. The story was good, but the art wasn't. I wish they could get a good artist for this series and just stick with them. I don't like the constant changes.

I didn't mind the art, if only because it wasn't as bad as Underworld: The Yavin Vassilika or KOTOR: Vector.

You need a good scale. The art in Star Wars: Jango Fett and in Blood Ties 1-4 is at one end. KOTOR: Vector is at the other. Certain fans place the art from Dark Empire near the top, others near the bottom. Knight Errant is somewhere between KOTOR: Vector and the middle.

I've only read one issue of Blood Ties, but I'm told the art style is consistent. For me, the artwork in Blood Ties is one of the best I've ever seen. Granted, I haven't read many comics, but that shouldn't take away from the fact that I thought it quite brilliant.

Blood Ties had a photorealistic style to it. It worked well.

As for Knight Errant, I agree, it is a lot like KOTOR. There were a lot of art changes in that series. But then I didn't follow that series issue to issue, I read them in TPB's. Knight Errant might be better that way.

Regardless, a consistent art style really helps a series in my opinion. In recent years, KOTOR is the only other Star Wars comic series I know of that kept changing artists. All the other series seem to stick with their creative teams.

Indeed, this is a comic I've been enjoying so far and I think I'll be picking it up issue to issue so far.

The beginning comic in the new arc threw me for quite a loop, as I read it.

Another commendable thing was the art. I don't keep track of these things, so I don't know/can't remember if the artists are from before, but the inside was quite pleasing to the eye. So, too, was the front cover. Well drawn with no odd quirks that made the previous covers slightly weird. It may not have been particularly out-there art, something that set it apart, and so it felt more like the safe option, but it was well drawn.

As has been noted of Knight Errant in the past, the poor cover art may contribute to it not doing well - so I'm glad that this is a good one, in the hope that more people will pick it up (despite the fact that it's more than a little inaccurate).

While the art was inaccurate (I was really looking forward to that worm monster) it is the best Knight Errant cover yet. Escape has new artist on board (new penciller, inker, and cover artist). The inside art's alright. It's not my favorite, but I think it might improve a little as the arc goes along, and I'm really happy that they're going to keep the same art team for the whole arc this time around.

I also like the new Sith Lord who represents the perversion of the Force.
