Has Obi-Wan's costume changed since the last season? I couldn't make out his form, properly, but it looked more like his episode III costume in the holo.
I'm very impressed, visually, with this episode. The grand battle thing is something this show is good at, yet in the beginning (of the show, not the series) it used to forget the little details. This series pays a lot more attention to them, and makes it more realistic. For example, the clone soldier who picked up the RPG, as he ran away with it slung over his shoulder, he reached behind him to stop it from slipping off him!
Though at other times it seemed factually incorrect. I think it was Rex who (I believe, not sure) jumped as the explosions went off, with the shockwave propelling him. In real life, that would have mashed up his brain. Even if not, he was still too close to survive. But that's just one of those things TV and film overlook.
I liked the machines. They had a War of the Worlds feel to them, crossed with some old sci-fi movies, with some Avatar thrown into the mix.
The only real downside isn't so much a problem with the show. I could recognise none of the clones. Rex, I'm getting used to, though I would confuse him with Fives, because of the pauldrons. Though now I can discern between the two. That's not really their problem as it is mine.
