In the books Reep is about two feet tall. I'll be the same. A human-sized Reepicheep would be creepy. Shocked

I think if we did a human sized Reep I'd next be expecting a Fox McCloud or Slippy Toad to appear on the scene. Laughing

At any rate I updated your bio to note that he's about 2 feet tall.

Just on some other stuff before we get too far in is there anything people might like written into the rules to stay away from? (But carry on with the playing of the RPG while we think of this! Lets not loose momentum and have this RPG become undead on us!)

For example do we want zombie children?

Living animals being killed by zombies?

Other issues?

I'm assuming here that since the forums generally run by a PG-13 rule we'll loosely apply that here to avoid a hard core R rating (by loose I mean stuff like my car scene or implying a very gruesome fate is ok, very graphic in-your-face descriptions of zombies disemboweling and eating a survivor alive is off limits). On the other hand since the Star Wars EU now has at least one horror novel (Death Troopers) maybe people will be fine if we bend the rule to "if it can be done in Death Troopers it's ok here."

It seemed worthwhile to ask whether there are any scenarios that would make people very uncomfortable before finding out the hard way.

Zombie children story-wise are a big emotional point. Eventually I plan on including my own dead child in the story.

Harsh, dude Shocked , but acceptable. Same goes for zombie animals - it makes sense that such a virus would be spreadable to other animals. Too, I've no real qualms about goriness so whatever floats your boat.

It varies from virus to virus and story to story what animals it will and won't effect. I intend to bring it to the group if I'm going to bring an animal into it.

Well, we've already had an undead dog, so the canine breed can be added to that list.

EDIT: Oh! And perhaps we should add rats to the list. Otherwise there's no real danger to Reep. I speak from a purely storytelling standpoint, of course.

I'm not particularly squeamish, so I'm cool with whatever. Smile

Eep. Sorry. What? I've never read the Narnia books, and only paid vague attention to the films Razz . In either case, both the mouse and the rat are part of the rodent family.

Too, so are squirrels, gerbils, porcupines, beavers, chipmunks, guinea pigs, and voles. Looks like there'll be a lot of zombie gerbils for Reep to stand off against.

Do it. Wink

I don't mind R-rated violence in the thread either.

Sounds like the gore issue is settled, I'll update the FAQ to note that anything goes.

These are all interesting zombie animal possibilities...and gave me an idea: zombie killer rabbits anyone? Razz

No no no no....there should just be ONE zombie killer rabbit...and it should be invincible Laughing

Unless someone has the holy hand grenade.

So shall it be written, so shall it be done.

So I don't know how we want to play this (I realize I may have written us into a corner by accident). Possible options I can think of: we could simply just have the zombies give up attacking us and look for more vulnerable pray, we introduce some survivor NPCs who are also attracted by the sound of our fight and the boost in our numbers allows us to repel the zombies.
